Your a winner…..!!

As I casually browsed through my emails today, I noticed the interestingly titled subject of “Your a winner“.

Noticing it was from Play Monday, the new “alternative lottery”, I was excited to say the least…..Especially as I had put 5 of my well earned gold coins on it the week before and forgotten all about it.

After trawling through the endless email (of which, all I wanted were the hard facts - i.e that I was now a millionaire!).

I was disappointed at the 18 quid, I had actually won - still it`s a win, so I can`t complain…..

  1. So, did the email say ‘Your’ a winner, or have you written a possessive pronoun instead of a contraction? If the email said ‘Your’ a winner instead of ‘You’re’ a winner, I’ll make fun of the grammatical error. On the other hand if it’s ‘your’ error, I’ll pretend I didn’t notice

Hey I’m bored, humour me :P

Tall Andy - Despite my usual poor grammar, this time the blame must be pointed towards Play Monday…..

  2. I read an article somewhere about probability and the lottery - apparently the big prize winners had often won a much smalller amount in the days/weeks prior to their win (having never won anything before).

Unrelated: Did I tell you how much I admire you Andy? I think you’re intelligent, handsome, married to a beautiful wife with a gorgeous baby… ;-)

  3. …me too Tall Andy!

  4. It’s always fun to win though, isn’t it? No matter how small the prize is? ;o)
