My first, (and maybe last Blog-ette)
Being an honoured Guest blogger and as “mini Em3” (as the rumour suggests) is sleeping, I thought I would offer some words of wisdom confusion….
After dropping Em3 off at the heli-pad on Sunday, that wisked him off to his secret Fish surveylance mission in Norway (shhhh…), I felt empty, withdrawn and concerned. No not because of the dangerous mission that Em3 was undertaking in Norway, but the fact he had reminded me that I had to take my seat back at the evil overlords headquarters the next morning, after a relaxing week off!
All was not lost though, as no sooner was Em3’s seat getting cold from it`s missing resident, did a very very attractive young lady pertch herself on his seat for the day and maybe for the next two weeks! And no, this is not just a clever way to make sure Em3 comes back to work – although it may work!
Talking of Em3’s chair in the office, someone (I will call them “Knob” for obvious reasons in a moment) asked me…
“Is the strange pillow shaped gizmo strapped to the back of this chair for piles?”
I replied rather bluntly…
“Sit on it and find out”
They took that reply rather badly.
I must add it wasn`t at Em3’s desk at the time so not a personal insult to our master blogger. And no, if you saw it, it is clearly for the odd dodgy back complaint and not a bunch of bum grapes.
On another thought - as guest bloggers does this give us the “power” to set tricky Em3 style quizzes/questions and offer “super” prizes. Not the kind of “super” prizes of the “blankety Blank - cheque book and pen” variety (that would be too much) but Em3 type prizes that the poor chap will have to stump up for on his return!
No doubt Em3 has drafted a clause here somewhere in the small print of these electronic pages…..! I`ll think of some tricky questions if you all think about what prizes you would like! Get the feeling I might not be a guest blogger for long!

Added on June 27th, 2006 at 10:30 pmExactly what sort of prizes did you have in mind? That young lady’ll have been drawn to my pheromones, in case you hadn’t realised. If I could just get the effect to work when I’m actually there …

Em3: Plenty, thank you. Mind you, the internet access at the hotel’s the only thing that’s free around here.
