What did you do today to make yourself proud?

It is a great honour to be amongst the Half Dozen guest bloggers whittled down from the initial, er, six applicants to fill the expansive boots of the Em whilst he is exploring darkest Norway. Or lightest Norway. I tried to come up with a collective noun for us but “Em People” was the best I could muster. I bags not having the beehive hairstyle.
Guest blogging must be a little bit like wife-swapping (I should imagine). Without the wife of course. Actually it’s more akin to breaking into somebody else’s house while they are away and scribbling meaningless graffiti on their bathroom wall. Come on, we’ve all done that haven’t we?!
I suppose the object is to be as entertaining as Chris Evans, as interesting as Michael Schumacher and as loveable and cuddly as Noel Edmonds so that when the blog-owner returns everyone breathes a collective sigh of relief. Those that are left standing of course.
Anyway, to set a standard for the remaining guests to aspire to (or despair to, as the direction is downwards) here is my favourite joke:
Q: Who led the “Pedant’s Revolt”.
A: “Which Tyler”.
On what note I will creep quietly back to my kennel, stopping only to point out that if you photoshop an Ipod onto the cardigan of the young Em (to the power 1) in his Cardiff Bay pic top right, you get an odd sense of deja vu. That’s all I’m saying.
