Off the beaten track

As I started off for Tesco’s yesterday evening it dawned on me that is was a surprisingly fine evening - I’m a little slow on the uptake at times.

As a result, I took a short detour, heading away from the superstore towards Wretham rather than into Chavtown.

I hadn’t got far when the scene above presented itself. Clearly a suitable subject. For some strange reason, though, of the three photos I took, this was the only decent one. The landscape shot came out strangely flat and uninteresting - not what I could see when I was there - and there was a very odd smudge on the third shot.

  1. I kind of liked the second photo with the shadows in the foreground. I often am disappointed with the pictures that I take when I compare them to actually being there. I’m sure that it’s just my lack of skill in picture taking. Your pictures always look great…so I think it’s just that you are too picky!
