Isn’t fuel expensive?

I mean, £47.48 to put 49 litres of the stuff into the Em3mobile this evening. Sheesh!

Hang on - 49 litres? It’s only got a 50 litre tank. That’s what I call cutting it close … I reckon I within 8 miles of running it dry, so I wouldn’t have made it home to Aaalburgh.

This, I’m sorry to say, was the highlight of my day. I feel rather drained after the weekend (all those parties clearly took it out of me) and am planning an early night.

That’s not all strictly true. I’m convinced there was something that happened today that prompted the thought ‘ooh, that’ll make a good post‘ but for the life of me I just can’t remember what it was. It must be contagious …

    It’s not just us then…it would cost us almost $60 to fill up our tank…

    Em3: Unless you’ve only got an 7 gallon tank, Calista, I suspect you’re paying a wee bit less than us. The fuel here works out at US$7.86 per gallon.
