After all, why should I think when I’ve got such a universally intelligent readership?

Today’s questions are:

  1. Has anyone been to Bergen? and, if so,
  2. Would you recommend it as a holiday destination?

    Never been but it’s meant to be one of the wettest cities on the planet (270 days per year) - take a brolly.

    Em3: Ooh. Lots of potential for glistening reflective photos then. Trying to verify this, I found this excellent and fascinating page. According to this site, there were 240 days with precipitation in 2001 - but they’re probably biased.

    No, but a mate, who is an “oily” got stranded there for four days - alcfrolics are a HORRENDOUS price!
    Cost him a fortune!

    Em3: Ah, but given that I can’t drink at the mo’ that’s not a problem for me - I might as well take the benefits where I can. :-)
