Mostly harmless

The scariest words in business should be “Department Away Day”.

We’ve got one tomorrow and, presumambly to foister greater cross-team getting-to-know-you-ness, we’ve all been allocated to a table with representatives from various teams across the department.

I’m dreading it.

The day is due to finish with some sort of treasure hunt with the end destination being the location for evening festivities.

I’m really, really dreading it.

    i used to do these once a year when i worked in a ‘proper’ company.

    brings back memories.

    Cr@p, Cr@p, Cr@p - Team building B*ll*cks! - The ONLY thing it achieves is giving you an extra days outstanding CR@P to be dealt with when you get back the following day! I should call in sick, at least that way you’ll be doing something that you want to do!
