A snell wind

I last visited Roudham in November (as I’m sure you’ll remember).

The light was a little better today, though, so I thought I’d take a few more snaps of the ruined shell of St Andrew’s Church.

It was awfully blustery out, though, and the wind was cutting through my clothes - enough to persuade me to retreat back into the warmth.

I got home to find a feline equally reluctant to leave the warmth of indoors*.

I do wish I’d noticed she’d unhooked her collar before she ran off, though!

* So now, an hour later, the sky’s a beautiful clear blue, dangnabbit!

  1. “Snell” … yep, you can tell you used to live in Scotland :-)

Love the “Leaning tower of Pisa” effect on Roudham Church - what a brilliant picture!

Em3: “Snell” is one of my favourite scottish words, Croila (along with “Crivens!”)

  2. Little Lambiekins. Joanie says, ‘Aaah!’
