No Photo Friday
No pics to eat up your internet connection today folks, although I did leave the house - a trip to Waitrose for some highly priced foodstuffs.
Tall Andy’s convinced me that I may not be in the best frame of mind for the clear-out I had planned for the weekend so we’ll just have to see what the weather brings instead.
And now for that soup.
[update]: Verdict = Scrummy, even without the parsley

Added on February 17th, 2006 at 7:42 pmOh shame you didn’t have any parsley, it really does add to it. Next time be sure to have some in and you’ll find it’s a different soup. Oh and don’t eat it all tonight, put some in the fridge and have it for lunch tomorrow and it’ll be 10 times more delicious
Em3: No need to worry on that point, Dais’ - I halved the ingredients and still reckon I’m getting 3 healthy portions from it. I’m not *that* fond of parsley anyway, if the truth must be told.

Added on February 17th, 2006 at 8:21 pmThanks for the link. I’ve added this to the menu for Sunday along with crab cakes. Double yummy! No parsley - good heavens man do you know the nutritional value of parsley? Off the scale with vitimins and all those terrific antioxidants. How about a wee bit of brocoli instead. Not that I’m a mothering type, mind you.
Em3: Mothering? You? Surely not :-). I reckon broccoli’d work well, though.
