Google (b)Ads

Bob’s blog has had a spam comment left on it.

Nothing unusual about that, of course, although this spam wasn’t a link to a site about viagra, online poker or some strange online poker viagra combination (to help you keep a stiff upper lip while gaming). Bob was suspicious and so checked out the blog before deciding whether to approve the comment or not. Bob found a clearly commercial blog all about the arrival (return?) of the new King Kong film to New Zealand. Quite nicely done, in fact.

The Google Ads attached to the blog amused Bob, though. Can you see why in this screenshot?

Oh, and it also amused Bob that a commercial venture would wish to be associated with Bob’s controversial posts. Maybe he’s been too mainstream after all?
