AWOL
Em3’s blog has had a spam comment left on it too, but who cares about that, eh?
Em3 should have been in work but was roused from his bed at 11am by the trill of his mobile phone. It was Mr Hassle , ringing to check he hadn’t fallen off the train. Em3 confirmed he’d not been anywhere near a train.
When asked if he was unwell, Em3 simply agreed with the suggestion - not knowing how otherwise to explain his absence. Em3 will have to be able to explain on Monday, though.
In other news, Em3 has collected his package from the postatorium - it’s 2/3 of his camera goodies, namely a lens adaptor and wide angle lens for the P850. While it was irritating that not all the order was forthcoming and that there’d been no email to warn him of this, Em3 realised it would have been far more irritating if the 2 items that arrived been the wide angle and telephoto lenses meaning that the adaptor necessary to mount the lenses would have been the missing item. My, how Em3 would have laughed.
As he was in the area, Em3 popped in to collect the framed photos from Frank. After all, last Saturday had seen the exchange:
“They should be finished by Monday evening.”
“Ah well, I’ll pick them up next Saturday then.”
Frank’s face fell as Em3 entered the shop.
“Oh. You said you’d collect them on Saturday.”
“You said they’d be finished by Monday evening.”
“I’ll do them this afternoon.”
Em3’s have third or fourth thoughts about asking Frank to frame the “Winter Fun” print but raised the idea of selling prints in the gallery section anyway.
“Ah, selling things takes longer than you’d think.”
“Yes, but you’ve not got any of my photographs on the wall.“, ignoring the obvious response that everything takes longer than you’d think in that shop.
His social interaction for the day done, Em3 returned to his shell for a wallow.
