Dreaming of a paper Christmas
It was just over five years ago that I had a brainwave.
Like most of you, I suspect, Di, Grunt and I had a traditional Christmas meal planned - albeit with a veggie option for myself.
Like most of you we weren’t particularly looking forwards to the washing up afterwards.
If, then, you’re reading this while relaxing after exactly such a session of washing, stacking, wiping and storing may I propose that you consider, for next year, the elegant solution I’d come up with.
It’s amazing how quickly the aftermath of a large feast can be tidied up when you’ve used a paper tablecloth, paper plates and plastic cutlery … oh, and have a hoover for a stepson who sees left-over food as a personal affront.
Merry Christmas!
