Warning: Alpen™ can seriously damage your teeth.

That’s a tough nut, I thought as I chomped on a bowl of cereal before retiring to bed.

Gosh, it’s very hard. It’s almost as if it’s not the cereal at all.

Oh dear.

A bowl of bloody cereal, for goodness sake. I know Alpen™’s got nuts in it, but even so there’s no way it should be making a tooth lose a bit (and no, it’s not a filling falling out, it’s the side of the tooth just falling off/out).

Best of all, it’s the side adjacent to the gap where the fun and games are planned for next Tuesday afternoon.

Bugger. Oh well - at least there’s no pain1. Guess I’ll be making a call to the dentist tomorrow. I should get a season ticket, shouldn’t I … and what odds do I get that this is going to postpone next week’s surgery?

1 [25 minutes later] I may have typed too soon :-(

  1. You might also want to add the following to your list of things to avoid in case they damage your teeth. All have been known to cause problems, pain (physical and financial) in our household.

    American Hard Gums
    Nicotine Replacement mints
    Cheese Sandwiches!

The first two you can kind of understand, but cheese sandwiches!

  2. Hope you’ll still make Swanley tomorrow - I’m expecting to pick up my prizes!!

    Andy

Em³: It’s a date! I’ll unpack the parcel especially. Well, not a “date” per se, of course.
