Uh-oh

I decided not to bother with a taxi and take the airport parking option (it’s about the same cost and there’s no obligation to tip a car park). All very good, so I go to the NCP website and type in the info.

Leaving 29th August at 03:001. Back 4th September at 14:00. Get the quote. Press the “Book this” button and it asks for my name and address. Fine. Now the flight numbers, so I pull out my itinerary. KL—- on the 29th. KL—- on the 5th … the 5th? Uh-oh.

Leaving aside the minor irritation of having to start again, Sick and Mandy go on holiday on the 3rd. This wasn’t a problem as Misty’d be fine on her own for a day as long as her food bowls are filled and her litter trays are emptied before M&S leave. But two days?

Houston, I think we have a problem.

In other news, I’m a little disappointed with my plums this year. Much small and later to ripen than last year. It seems that most of them are going to ripen while I’m away. Oh well, the birds will be happy, I suppose.

1 If I choose to check in 3 hours before the flight as is suggested - I’ll be checking later but reckon it’ll be closer to 5am.
