Hooray, hooray

… it’s a holi-holiday.

Ah, what a classic song.

No more orifice until the 7th of September for me. Tee hee. I’ll also checked with the hotel and there’s internet a’plenty for blogging shenanigans next week. Excellent!

So much still to do before I go, though, such as working out how I’ll get to the airport at 3am on Monday morning. Drive and park? Taxi - assuming I can find one working at that time on a Bank Holiday morning? I looked on the NCP site to see what the parking costs … £38.50?! Hang on - saving £45.50 on the standard price of £84.00? I want to buy a square of tarmac near an airport as it seems to come with its own money-printing machine. A taxi it is, then.

Just half a dozen for you today. For JonnyB, I have more pictures of trains (and wait for next week’s posts, Jonny - there are likely to be lots and lots for you. First up, though, is the statue on the war memorial outside the Norfolk Regimental museum, on the corner of Castle Meadows, and a bit of nature red in tooth and claw to put you off your tea.

(Oh yes - I’ll see what I can do about your requests, grumpybloke)

  2. Sorry. That train’s a bit modern for me.
